Biography

Finchittida Finch is a multi-dimensional artist and alchemist, whose work spans jewellery, textiles, fine art and fashion. Through these art-forms she explores and shares the beauty and wisdom of her Lao heritage, cross cultural collaborations and collective healing.

Born in 1989 to a Lao refugee and a charming working class Londoner, Finchittida grew up seeking adventure, meaning and refuge in secret urban jungles, adornment and ancient spiritual wisdom.

Finchittida believes in creating soulful pieces that stand the test of time. She released her first jewellery collection Monozygotic Talismans in 2012, and since then has released the eagerly anticipated Kindred Carvings, The Empress and Culture Clash 1.0.

Finchittida is passionate about cross-cultural collaborations, working with craftspeople, dancers, artists, cinematographers and avantegarde music artists such as FKA twigs and Cambodian popstar Laura Mam.

In 2018 Finchittida was awarded the Burberry Design Scholarship to study MA Jewellery & Metal at the Royal College of Art, where she has been developing her creative practice over the last two years.
