My Story

Finchittida [known as Tida for short] is a tantric artist with a penchant for personal adornment: designing jewellery, fashion & textiles. Her creations evoke her Lao-British heritage, ancient philosophies and mythologies, driven by her own spiritual practice. Finchittida has been hailed for her audacious aesthetics and altruistic attitude, leading to bespoke commissions for Warner Bros & avant-garde icon FKA twigs, as well as a TEDx talk about social purpose in business. Editorial features in international publications include Vogue, Elle, Stylist, Hunger, Wonderland magazine and The Guardian.

Finchittida's studio is based in her hometown of London. Creative collaborations take her worldwide, most recently working with music artists in Cambodia. Finchittida's holistic approach to fashion sees her exploring collaborative projects with her twin sister - yogi & reiki practitioner Lisa Finch.

"My Mum is from the beautiful country of Laos in South-East Asia. It is almost unknown that Laos is the most bombed country per capita on earth as a result of the Vietnam War. It's been over 40 years since the end of the war, but there are still unimaginable numbers of unexploded bombs left across rural parts of Laos, affecting the lives of men, women and children everyday. That's why we decided to partner with MAG (Mines Advisory Group) a humanitarian organisation dedicated to clearing the bombs and helping the rural communities affected to thrive."
